ALL-PURPOSE
Looking for a meaningful Christmas gift to give?
How about a gift that gives hope in our community?
If you are looking for a meaningful gift to give this year, don’t miss the 2017 River Region Alternative Gift Fair. An alternative gift is a charitable donation which will fund a specific need in our community through one of the Fair’s 30-plus participating nonprofit groups. Starting at $5, you may honor your family, friends, co-workers, teachers, or clients by giving construction materials, medical supplies, children’s books, food, and more, to our neighbors in need. The Fair will be held from 9am to 12pm on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017, at the Cloverdale Campus of Huntingdon College, 1125 East Fairview Avenue. Online shopping will be available through Tuesday, December 5th—with gift cards and envelopes mailed to online shoppers on Thursday, December 7th. CHURCH
How are you celebrating Christmas this year?
Will your gifts help give hope in our community?
The River Region Alternative Gift Fair is a new, faith-inspired, community-wide tradition which started in 2013. It aims to give area residents an alternative to the materialism that sometimes takes over our Christmas celebrations—and it seeks to align those celebrations more closely with the redemption promised through Jesus Christ. An “alternative gift” is a charitable donation which will fund a specific need in our community through one of the Fair’s 30-plus participating nonprofit groups. The groups include many well-known organizations as well as a few groups who are more recent arrivals on the River Region nonprofit scene. Starting at $5, you may honor your family, friends, fellow church members, co-workers, teachers, or clients by giving construction materials, medical supplies, children’s books, food, and more, to our neighbors in need. The Fair will be held from 9am to 12pm on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at the Cloverdale Campus of Huntingdon College, 1125 East Fairview Avenue. Online shopping will be available through Tuesday, December 5th—with gift cards and envelopes mailed to online shoppers on Thursday, December 7th.
